Aspen Rim is a beautiful community in south west Bend, Oregon nestled between Brookswood Blvd and the Deschutes River. Construction on the homes began in 2006 and continued through 2012. This is a great community for people from all walks of life. There are 155 single family homes in this well-maintained community with lots ranging from 3500 sq feet to over 10,000.

The community is centered around Renaissance Ridge Central Park where residents have access to a pool, a hot tub, a playground, and a covered community Pavillion with tables, chairs, and stone fireplace for small gatherings. The park also has a good amount of greenspace for other outdoor activities. There are also 6 other neighborhood parks within 1.5 miles of the neighborhood. A popular place in the winter for the kids is “The Pit” which is a greenspace in an adjacent neighborhood that is below the surrounding ground level with small hills on all sides for winter sledding fun.

Aspen Ridge is governed by an HOA whose dues cost $156 a month, though cost may vary due to lot size. The HOA dues cover landscaping of all front lawn, landscaping maintenance of all common areas, snow removal of common areas (owners are responsible for shoveling their own driveways, walkways, and sidewalks), pool maintenance, and upkeep of common area structures. Owners have access to the Deschutes River trail which is a wide path that meanders along the Deschutes River providing a peaceful and esthetically pleasing walk or ride to the sounds of the rushing waters and songs of various species of birds.

The Brookswood Meadow Plaza is just over a mile down the road. Here you can find a variety businesses and restaurants to include Snap Fitness, The Dailey Method Barre Studio, Meadowlark Dining and Cocktails, Cabin South Bar and Grill, Austin Mercantile, The People’s Apothecary, Brookswood Animal Clinic, Stride Canine Rehabilitation and Fitness Center, Toddles Preschool, Yay Art Camp, Mail and More, and Badland’s Hair Studio. CE Lovejoy’s Market can also be found at the plaza. It is a small, locally owned, grocery store where local residents can find most of what they need including quality meats, fresh produce, freshly-baked goods, local dairy products, specialty cheeses, a full-service deli, and a wide selection of beer and wine.

The Bend Lapine School District runs all the public schools in Bend. The local schools for Aspen Ridge are: Pine Ridge Elementary School , Cascade Middle School, and Bend Senior High School.

There are other similar neighborhoods bordering Aspen Rim to the north east and south west. The Deschutes River borders to the north west. Residents have a short ride along Brookswood Blvd to get to Bond Street which leads to the Old Mill District and Downtown Bend without having to get on the busy highway. You can also access Century Drive and the Cascade Lakes Highway which leads to Mt Bachelor, numerous lakes, and biking and hiking trails.
